Wow how quickly has April gone? I blinked and it’s now May, this year is going far to quick. I have never done a favourites post before so I thought I would give it a go. Here is a list of the things I have been loving in April and the links to where you can get them.
I was searching for months for a foundation that didn’t leave my skin looking dry. After speaking with my best friend Laurie, who is a make up artist she recommended The healthy mix serum. I absolutely love this foundation, it gives amazing coverage while making my skin look smooth and healthy.
My mum picked up this lipstick while on a trip to New York. Mum got me the shade bachelorette which is a deep red. I love this lipstick and the case it comes in. Studded kiss is awesome for long lasting coverage and also has vitamins in it that keep your lips feeling smooth and silky.
I have been using Apocalypse by Rimmel every day nearly! I love it, I have it in shade “Big bang” its a deep red. Red lipstick has always been my statement look , I love how it works with my porcelain white skin. Apocalypse leaves my skin looking shiny and with a huge pop of colour.
I love this lip liner as it helps start off the look that I always go for. I thought I would try Barry M make up as I had only ever used their nail polish products, I was very impressed with this lip liner in shade red!
USA
In April I did a week of Disney inspired blog posts, I really enjoyed this as it brought back some lovely memories of my last trip back in June 2013. I love America, I love everything about America and long to go back. Reliving my American memories has been something that has been very prominent this month.
The Tempest
I started acting lessons a few weeks ago and I am absolutely loving them. I have met so many lovely people that are in my acting class and out tutor, Neil is great. Neil is so passionate about acting and has loads of knowledge within the industry that he is sharing with us all. Alex has a book shelf in our room that has lots of plays in it, I went searching for a new play and came across The Tempest by William Shakespeare, I love The Tempest it’s such an amazing story. Caliban all the way!
Michael Kors chain
My auntie Erika kindly gave me this Michael Kors rose gold chain and I have loved wearing it since, it is such a lovely statement piece and I am getting used to wearing more jewellery to finish off my outfits.
New Home
Something I haven’t yet discussed on the blog is the fact that I am moving house! I am leaving the house I have lived in for most of my life to move to a brand new city. This is something I am both excited and terrified about. After looking at many houses we finally found one that we loved. I am really excited to start thinking about bedroom décor and colour schemes – expect a post soon.
Taylor Swift – 1989
I love Taylor Swift, I got her album for Christmas and it has definitely been overplayed a lot in April.
River Island Sunglasses
Alex actually bought me these sunglasses a few years ago, the reason they are in my favourites this month is because I have used them nearly every day! The sun is shining and summer looks like it will be making an amazing appearance!
